Recently Mauro was promoted to the role of EMA’s Membership and Marketing Manager, as well as continuing as Corporate Counsel. Prior to that he was the Manager of EMA's Conferences and Sponsorship Business Unit. In this role he manages all aspects of Business Unit strategy and delivery, as well as a full marketing portfolio and sponsor relationships.

Previous to the EMA Mauro had substantial employment relations experience as an employment relations litigation practitioner and as an in-house ER/HR consultant. Mauro has worked for large corporate entities and smaller boutique enterprises. During his time as an ER practitioner, he was involved in large scale collective negotiations, transferred businesses from the public to private sector, and was responsible for HR/ER support for over eight business units and some 1,000 staff.

Zoe Timbrell has been with the EMA for 4 years. She manages the Conferences and events team. She previously worked as an event and production manager for major events around New Zealand.
